Luke Shaw, a former swimming and diving team captain and school record holder at Texas A&M, is in his first season as volunteer assistant coach.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Shaw is a second generation Aggie after his mother. Shaw competed for the Men’s swimming and diving team until he graduated in 2015. During his time at A&M, Shaw was an All-American and a member of multiple top 15 team finishes.
Shaw was a distinguished Aggie athlete and student. He received the Trey Heye Memorial Award and was named to the Southeastern Conference academic honor roll.
After graduating from Texas A&M, Shaw volunteered with the University of Texas men’s swimming and diving team. During his tenure he gained great experience working with several Olympians and Olympic coaches. He will use that experience to help his alma mater in the pool.
