2012-2013 (Junior)
Jones earned SEC Male Diver of the Week recognition early in the season after a double dual meet against North Carolina and South Carolina. Jones scores of 385.70 (1m) and 418.20 (3m) were the highest in the SEC. The season included several first place finishes including the dual v. Florida in the 1-meter (370.43). Jones tallied the silver medal with a runner-up finish in the three-meter springboard dive with a score of 466.55 at the National Diving Championships … also placed 6th in the one-meter (381.40).
2011-2012 (Sophomore)
Enjoyed great success in his first season on campus at Texas A&M. At the Big 12 Championships, Jones took home third place in both the 1M and 3M Dive. He finished the conference meet with a total of 32 points. At the NCAA Championships, Jones brought home All-American honors by placing 15th in the 1M Dive and earning two points for the overall competition. In the 1M Dive Jones scored a season high 395.30 at the Big 12 meet. Jones scored his highest in the 3M Dive at the Incarnate Word meet, scoring 429.95.
2010-2011 (Freshman/Navy)
Qualified and competed at the NCAA Zone diving championships ... at the Patriot League Championships, Jones placed third on the one-meter (371.0) … named second-team All-Patriot league … saw action at the U.S. Diving Winter Nationals in Iowa City, Iowa in February. He placed 10th on the one-meter with a score of 326.50. Jones had advanced through qualifying in the three-meter with a score of 390.40, but had to return to campus for a dual meet with Columbia.
High School:
Graduated from Klein High School ... won the state title on the one meter and garnered All-America honors in the event as a senior ... placed eighth on the one meter at the 2009 Senior Nationals.
