Saw action in several meets in the freestyle… recorded personal bests in three events at the American Short Course Championships in the 100 free (45.61), 200 free (1:38.23), and 500 free (4:29.43).

2014 graduate of Plano Senior High School in Plano, TX where he graduated with honors … three-time All-America … also competed with Lakeside Aquatic Club under head coach Clayton Cagle … during his time with the club he earned the Jr. Nationals award- 100-free, 200-free (2013-2014)

Kyle Whieldon is the son of Sue and John Whieldon … born on November 8, 1995 in Fairfax, Virginia … intends to major in Engineering … says he chose A&M, “for the atmosphere. Everyone is into the A&M spirit. I love the team and the camaraderie of the guys. Also the “Teamwork” caps are awesome because I love to work hard. The coaches are everything a swimmer could ask for with their combined experience, success, and the tradition. I just want to be a part of it all.”
