Competed at the Phill Hansel Invitational in the three-meter dives to score 258.30.
2011-2012 (Junior)
Xiques earned 37 points at the Big 12 Conference Championships. He finished seventh in 1M Dive, seventh in the 3M Dive, and sixth in the Platform Dive with scores of 273.15, 318.80, and 252.80 respectively.
2010-2011
Xiques scored 24 points at the Big 12 Championships with a 6th place finish in platform diving (263.30) and an 8th place finish in the 3-meter. He also had personal best dives in the 1-meter and 3-meter at the meet against Florida Atlantic University, 297.0 and 307.28, respectively.
High School/Club:
2008 graduate of Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Helotes, Texas...three-year letterwinner and was coached by Tommy Law...finished in first place in his district in 2006 and second place in both 2007 and 2008...three-time state qualifier, finished in 14th, 13th and 11th place in 2006, 2007 and 2008, respectively...also was the 2006 district champion in polevaulting at Sandra Day O'Connor in 2006...also competed for the Alamo Area Aquatic Divers club team and was coached by Tommy Law and Stan Randal.

Paul Xiques is the son of Frank Xiques and Barbara Covarrubias of Helotes, Texas...born May 24, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas...architecture major...Stepfather, David Covarrubias, attended Texas A&M from 1983-87...chose Texas A&M because "I love the school and the atmosphere."
