  • No. 4 on the team in 200 backstroke with time of 1:46.96 at the American Short Course Championships
  • No 7. In the 100-yard backstroke at the Art Adamson Invitational (49.86)
  • Second place finish in the 200 back with a time of 1:46.96 (American Short Course Championships)
  • Swam season best time in the 200 free (1:40.07) and 100 back (50.44) at the American Short Course Championships
 
2014-2015 (Freshman):
  • Reached the podium in his first event of the season, a third place finish against Texas in the 200 back (1:54.02)
  • Fastest finish in the 200 back (1:46.70) occurred at the Speedo Championship Series
  • Reached the podium for the first time in the 100 back (53.41) against FAU

  • Earned athlete of the meet honors at the 2013 and 2014 District competitions
  • 2014 Regional Athlete of the Meet as well as the Clear Falls male swimming MVP from 2011-2014
  • Member of the TISCA 1st team All-State for the 100 back from 2011-2014
  • Competed as a member of the Water Polo team
  • Swam for the Houston Cougar Aquatics Club under head coach Greg Orphanides where he was a NCSA Juniors finalist for 2012-2013 in the 100 back, Winter Junior National qualifier 2013 in the 100 and 200 back, and Winter National qualifier 2014 in the 100 and 200 back

Something about me that most people don’t know: I really like playing and watching baseball and golf. If I didn’t get into swimming, I probably would be playing baseball still. Also I love hiking and exploring the U.S. national parks.
