2016-17 (Sophomore):
  • At the 2017 U.S. Open, Martinez placed 16th in the 100 fly and 18th in the 200 fly
  • Won the consolation final of the 200 fly at the SEC Championships with a school record time of 1:43.25. Also competed in the 400 IM and 500 free and swam a leg on the Aggies’ 800 free relay
  • Had team-best times in the 500 free (4:25.60) and 200 fly (1:43.25) and also ranked in the top five on the team in the 200 free (1:37.19), 1,000 free (9:41.37), 100 back (47.33), 200 back (1:47.36), 200 breast (2:00.07), 100 fly (47.38) and 400 IM (3:51.32)
  • Posted NCAA B cuts in 100 back, 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM
 
2015-2016 (Freshman):
  • Ranked in the top five on the team in seven events – 200/500/1,000 free, 100/200 butterfly and 200/400 IM
  • Had NCAA B cuts in the 200 free (1:37.75), 200 fly (1:45.75), 200 IM (1:47.35) and the 400 IM (3:53.56)
  • Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after posting three top four finishes in the double dual against Missouri State and Georgia, including a victory in the 500 free against MSU
  • Placed first in both the 200 fly and 400 IM at the FAU dual meet.

  • 2014 graduate of Prepatoria 9 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
  • Also swam for the Tigres Swim Club under coach Rita Monzon
  • Fastest time in the 200 fly is 2:01.26 and 2:02.95 in the 200 IM.
