2016-17 (Sophomore):
  • Posted season bests of 20.80 in the 50 free, 45.41 in the 100 free and 48.43 in the 100 fly
 
2015-2016 (Freshman):
  • Competed in 100 free, 100 back, and 100 fly at the SEC Championships
  • Swam season best in 100 free (45.53) and 100 fly (48.69) at the SEC Championships
  • Season high finish (3rd) at Incarnate Word dual meet in 100 free (50.93)
  • Ranked sixth on team in 100 fly (48.69) and seventh in 50 free (20.81)
  • Swam lead off on 400 medley relay at the FAU dual meet
  • Competed in American Short Course Championships and swam season best of 1:39.65 in the 200 free
 
High School/Club:
  • Coached by William Keith at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, N.C.
  • Was a three-time team MVP and a two-time team captain
  • 2014 Charlotte Boys Swimmer of the Year
  • Had five top five state finishes
  • Set school records in the 200 IM (1:59.89), 50 free (21.17), 100 fly (50.63) and 100 back (52.97)
  • An excellent student, Long was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society and was a two-time Scholastic All-American
  • Competed for SwimMAC Carolina for 10 years and was coached by Alan Pfau
  • Was on SwimMAC’s national team in 2013 and 2014 and was a part of the 200 free relay national record (age 15-16)
  • Two-time winner of the SwimMAC Coaches Award
