2020-21 (Junior): 

• Swam a personal-best time of 4:25.53 in the 500 free, while also logging season-best times in the 100 breast (54.24) and 200 breast (1:58.86).

2019-20 (Sophomore):

• At the SEC Championships: logged a personal-best time and earned points in the bonus finals for the 100 breast (54.13) … earned points in the 200 breast placing 21st overall (1:57.61)
• Art Adamson Invite: Earned NCAA B-cut in fifth-place finish in the 200 breast (1:57.24)
• At Harvard/vs. Duke double-dual meet: Placed fifth in the 200 breast (2:03.62) at the Harvard, Duke 
• vs. No. 5 Ohio State: Placed fifth in the 200 breast (2:06.13) in the season-opener victory 

 
2018-19 (Freshman):

• Competed in the 200 yard backstroke, 500 yard freestyle, and 100 yard breaststroke at the 2019 SEC Championships 
• Registered his first win on the season earning gold in the 200-yard breaststroke against TCU (2:04.69)

 
High School/Club:

• 2018 graduate of Katy Taylor High School in Katy, Texas
• Qualified for Winter Juniors in 2016
• Competed at the 2017 UIL 6A Swimming & Diving State Meet finishing second in the state with a time of 56.04 in the 100m breast
• Placed 15th in the 200m breast at 2018 Summer Juniors
• Four-time district champion in 100 breast
• Two Time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and NISCA All-American
• Swam for Power for Life Aquatic Club under Sharon Power for 9 years

Jacob Schababerle is the son of Matthew and Jennifer Schababerle… born May 6, 2000 in Houston… has one younger sibling, Taylor… plans to major in mechanical engineering
