Before A&M:
- Competed for Coach Linda Shults at Keller High School.
- Placed third at regionals in the 200 IM and first in the 100 breast as a senior.
- Holds the school record in the 100 breast with a time of 55.08.
- Spent five years swimming for Lakeside Aquatics Club and holds team record in the 100 and 200 breast.
