2020-21 (Junior):
- Has tallied seven individual A-cut times in five different events, lowering his own school record in the 100 back, 200 back, 200 fly and 200 IM ... Has been named SEC Male Swimmer of the Week on four occasions.
- NCAA Championships: Placed first in the 200 IM (1:39.53), 100 back (44.20) and 200 back (1:35.75)... Set a new pool record at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in the 200 IM.
- SEC Championships: Won the Commissioners Trophy as the top point scorer of the meet… Lowered the school record in the 50 back (20.61), 200 free (1:31.28) and 100 fly (44.91) to make four total trips to the podium.
- Art Adamson: Lowered his own school record in the 100 back (43.87) and 200 IM (1:38.95), while also setting a new pool record in the 200 back (1:36.62) ... Helped the 200 free relay and 200 medley relay teams to top finishes with A-cut times of 1:16.48 and 1:24.21, respectively.
- TCU: Topped his own school record and earned his second A-cut time of the year in the 200 fly with a time of 1:39.23.
- At Texas: Tallied three top finishes, including the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM.
- First Chance Invite: Began his junior season with a school-record performance in the 200 back (1:36.54), claiming additional top-two finishes with A-cut times in the 100 back (44.40), 400 IM (3:38.22) and 200 IM (1:40.52).
2019-20 (Sophomore):
- At the SEC Championships: won the Commissioners Trophy as the top point scorer of the meet… contributed to of the medals won by the men’s team, with two individual gold medals in the 200 IM (1:39.91) and 200 back (1:37.20) … his 200 back time broke Ryan Lochte’s SEC meet record of 1:38.29 … he placed second in the 100 back (44.68) … contributed the leadoff backstroke for the winning 200 medley relay squad
- vs. SMU: won the 1000 free (9:19.67)
- At LSU: won the 100 back (47.23) and the 200 back (1:44.21)
- At Georgia: won the 100 back (47.21) and the 200 back (1:43.86)
- At the Holiday Invite (at Incarnate Word/vs. Trinity): won the 200 free (1:38.43) and placed second in the 100 breast (56.50)
- Awarded SEC Swimmer of the Week (11/26)
- Art Adamson Invite: Became the fastest teenager of all time in the 200 IM with a time of 1:40.16 and 10th fastest swimmer of all time in the 200 IM… set school record in the 100 back the next day with a time of 44.48, which also notched a new pool record and top time in the country… . In the 100 fly, Casas erased the oldest school record, dating back from 2009, and now leads the nation with his time of 45.26… Casas became the eighth-fastest performer of all time in the 200 back with NCAA A-cut time of 1:52.48.
- At Harvard/vs. Duke (double-dual meet): Notched two first-place finishes in the 100 back (47.68) and 200 back (1:44.08)
- At Boston University: Won the 200 fly (1:48.16) in dual meet
- No. 2 Texas: Touched the wall first in the 200 back (1:43.36) and 100 fly (47.34)
- No. 5 Ohio State: Won each of his individual races, the 100 back (48.04), 200 back (1:44.78) and 100 fly (47.73)
2018-19 (Freshman):
- Broke six school records in his rookie season (200 back, 200 IM, 200 free relay, 800 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay)
- Named to inaugural TYR Next Gen Team
- Was the 18-and-under national champion in both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the Phillips 66 National Championships (July 2018)
- Won the 200-yard backstroke (1:46.45) and placed second in the 100-yard backstroke (48.79) against No. 17 Alabama
- Finished second in the 200-yard medley relay with Angel Martinez, Benjamin Walker, and Adam Koster against No. 5 Texas
- Placed second in the 200-yard IM and third in the 100-yard backstroke (48.11) vs. No. 5 Texas
- Set a new Texas A&M school record, swimming a national-best 1:40.04 to win the 200-yard backstroke in the Art Adamson Invitational
- Took home the gold in the 200-yard fly (1:48.70) against TCU
- Took down the school record in the 200-yard medley relay with Adam Koster, Benjamin Walker, and Angel Martinez at the SEC Championships
