Personal: Victoria Renee De La Garza was born on March 26, 2001 in Bryan, Texas to Juan De La Garza (’85) and Kristie De La Garza … raised in a house filled with athletes as her father threw javelin for Texas A&M, mother played basketball for Kansas State, uncle Brent Bahner played basketball for Kansas State, cousins Austin and Bailey Bahner competed in the decathlon and high jump for the Wichita State Track & Field team and cousins Alejandro and Rogelio De La Garza competed in javelin and shot put, discuss at Monterrey Tech … has one younger sister named Ana De La Garza … graduated Summa Cum Laude at College Station High School in 2019 … majoring in Animal Science.
