2014-2015 (Junior)

Continued his successes in the backstroke… set a new personal best at the SEC Championships in the 100 back (47.75)… swam a season best 1:44.58 in the A-Final 200 back at the American Short Course Championships… recorded three first-place and two second-place finishes in the 200 back this year… recorded a first-place finish in the 100 back against Indian River State College and a second-place finish against Incarnate Word.

2013-2014 (Sophomore)
Scored 20 individual points at the SEC Championships and contributed to two relays, leading off the eighth place 200 medley relay and the 10^th place 400 medley relays. Individually, Theocharidis finished 12^th with an NCAA ‘B’ cut in the 200 back (1:44.51) and 20^th in the 100 back in ‘B’ cut time of 47.89. Theocharidis’ 200 back ranks third fastest in school history. At SECs, Theocharidis also swam the lead off on the season best 200 and 400 medley relays.

2012-2013 (Freshman)
Posted 32 points at the SEC Championships with NCAA ‘B’ cuts in the 100 back and 200 back. Theocharidis was honored as the SEC freshman swimmer of the week during the season. Had best times in 100 back (47.81) and 200 back (1:44.72) which were the fastest on the team this season, and his 200 being the third fastest in program history.

High School/Club:
2011 graduate of 11th Lyceum of Thessaloniki in Thessaloniki, Greece ... had best times of 26.26 in the 30 meter back, 55.93 in the 100 meter back, 2.04.26 in the 200 meter back, and 52.00 in the 100 meter free relay ... also competed for the A.C. Aris Thessalonikis club team and was coached by Xrysafis Baggelauauis.

Alexandros Theocharidis is the son of Anastasios and Efstratia Theocharidis of Thessaloniki, Greece ... born November 16, 1993 in Serres, Greece ... kinesiology major ... says he chose A&M “because it is one of the best universities in the country academically and athletically.”
