- At the SEC Championships, Van Overdam placed ninth in the 400 IM, 13th in the 200 IM and 17th in the 200 breast
- Posted NCAA B cuts 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 and 400 IM
- Led the team in the 200 and 400 IM
- Posted season bests of 54.73 in the 100 breast, 1:57.35 in the 200 breast, 1:45.91 in the 200 IM and 3:46.13 in the 400 IM
2014-15 (Freshman/University of Arizona):
- Had the third fastest time on the team in the 200 IM (1:46.72) and 400 IM (3:48.01
- Held the fourth fastest in the 200 back (1:47.53) and fifth fastest in the 200 fly (1:47.35)
- At Pac-12 Championships, he took sixth in the B final of the 400 IM with 3:52.60, first in the C final of the 200 IM with his season-best time and first in the C final of the 200 fly with 1:47.39
- At the Texas Invitational, he finished fourth in B final of the 200 IM, first in the B final of the 400 IM with a season-best, seventh in the B final of the 200 fly and sixth in the C final of the 200 back
- Took fourth in 100 back against ASU and eighth in the 200 IM against Texas/SMU.

- Trained with Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club for eight years under Coach Jack Maddan where he finished fourth in the 400 IM at Junior Nationals and qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 200 and 400 IM.
