2014-2015 (Junior)

Showed an impressive display of skill at the SEC Championships, where he set personal bests in the 200 back (1:44.94) and 200 free (1:36.74) for NCAA ‘B’ cuts and also recorded a team best in the 500 free (4:25.31)… finished sixth in the A-final 200 free (1:37.54) at the American Short Course Championships… finished anywhere between second and fourth-place in 12 combined freestyle and backstroke events.

2013-2014 (Sophomore)
Muzek helped the 800 free relay team to a new school record at the SEC Championships with a sixth place finish in 6:21.20. Individually, Muzek scored in the C Final of the 200 free with a ‘B’ time of 1:37.13. In prelims, Muzek swam a 1:37.02 for the eighth fastest 200 free in school history. Also competed in the 500 free, hitting the wall in 4:25.72 for the sixth fastest time on A&M record. At the NCAA Championships, Muzek competed on the 22^nd place 800 free relay.

2012-2013 (Freshman)
Muzek had an impressive first season, scoring at the SEC Championships with an NCAA ‘B’ cut in the 200 freestyle and helping take fourth in the 800 free relay. Muzek had personal bests in the 200 free (1:37.76), 100 back (50.65), and the 200 back (1:49.20). At the US Open Championships, Muzek competed in the 100 and 200 back and the 200 free.

High School/Club:
Mateo swam with his club team HAPK Mladost for three years.
