2013-2014 (Junior)
Bosma swam lead-off for the 400 freestyle relay, leading the relay to a fourth place finish at the 2014 SEC Championships (3:14.77). Bosma anchored the fourth place finishing 200 medley relay at the 2014 SEC Championships with a time of 1:36.40, the third fastest in A&M history. Bosma swam the third leg for the third place finishing 200 free relay (1:28.48). Bosma tallied three NCAA ‘B’ cut times and 42 individual points for the Aggies after finishing 10th in the 100 free (48.74), 11th in the 100 fly (53.42) and 17th in the 50 free (22.39). At the Art Adamson Invitational, Bosma swam a career-best 1:57.65 in the 200 fly, the seventh fastest time in A&M history. At the NCAA Championships, Bosma swam a personal bests in the 100 fly (53.09), 50 free (22.28), and 100 free (48.32). Also contributed to the fourth-place school record 200 free relay (1:27.19) and the ninth place 400 free relay.
2012-2013 (Sophomore)
Bosma helped the Aggies score 22 points swimming the lead-off in the 400 free relay at the 2013 NCAA Championships. At the 2013 SEC Championships, Bosma scored 40 individual points for the team, earning NCAA ‘B’ cuts in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly. Bosma also contributed to the NCAA ‘A’ standard 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
2011-2012 (Freshman)
Scored 57.5 points at the 2012 Big 12 Championship meet with three Top-6 individual finishes and a pair of relay swims...helped the Aggies to a second place finish in the 800 free relay and a third place finish in the 400 free relay...finished fifth individually in the 200 and 100 freestyle events and touched sixth in the 50 free.
High school/club:
A 2011 graduate of Lassiter high school in Marietta, Georgia, Bosma was coached by Glenn Meeden…14-time high school All-American…2011 Georgia 5-A State Swimmer of the Year…her high school finished first in state all four years of her high school career…finished first in state her senior year in the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle…holds her high school record in the 100 freestyle (50.31) and the 100 backstroke (55.43)…coached by Pike Hightower, Michael Soderlund and Ian Goss at the Stingrays Swimming club.

Samantha Bosma is the daughter of Alan and Jennifer Bosma of Marietta, Georgia…born September 17, 1992 in Orlando Florida…intends to major in ocean engineering at Texas A&M…cousin Jennifer Richter attends A&M and is a junior…father Alan was a collegiate track and field athlete at Michigan State University…has two sisters, Stephanie (16) and Stacy(14)…chose A&M “Because of the awesome team, and the opportunity to reach my full potential as a swimmer; also, the traditions and pride that go into being an Aggie.”
