2025-26 (Senior)
- Named the Team MVP by vote of her teammates at the annual team banquet.
- Was Texas A&M’s female winner of the SEC’s H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, which includes a $10,000 post-graduate scholarship
- Received the 2025-26 Bill Erwin Scholar-Athlete of the Year Awards at the annual Legacy Award
- Earned All-America honors with a 12th place finish in the 100 backstroke (51.22) and by helping the 200 free relay to a 12th place finish at the NCAA Championships with a season-best 22.18 leadoff leg.
- Also swam the leadoff legs on the Aggies 200 and 400 medley relays and second leg of the 400 free relay at the national meet.
- Qualified for NCAA Championships in the 100 back with a lifetime best time of 51.06 from the Alabama dual meet.
- Contributed 69 points at the SEC Championships with an eighth-place finish in the 100 back (51.99) and 22nd-place effort in the 50 free (22.57) and with the Aggies 200/400 free relays and 200/400 medley relays.
- Led the team in the 50 free (22.18) and 100 back (51.06) and ranked No. 2 in the 100 free (49.67).
- Finished her career ranked No. 2 in the 50 free (21.91) and No. 3 in the 100 back (51.06) on the Aggies’ top 10 lists. On the relay top five lists, Owens ranked No. 2 in the 200 medley relay and No. 3 in the 200 free relay.
- Shared the team’s Performance of the Year” with her 200 free relay teammates for their swim at the national meet.
2024-25 (Junior):
- Earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades as the 200 and 400 medley relays notched top-16 finishes at NCAA Championships, competing individually in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back.
- Placed seventh in the 50 free (22.04) and ninth in the 100 back (51.56), while also clocking a new 50 free top time as the 200 free relay leadoff and helping the 200 medley relay notch the third-fastest time in program history.
- Lowered personal-bests in the 50 free (22.18) and 100 back (51.79), adding a season-best time of 49.39 in the 100 free, while helping both medley relays notch NCAA B-cuts at the Art Adamson Invite.
- Served as a team captain.
- Was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
- Earned the Aggie Heart Award at the annual team banquet.
2023-24 (Sophomore):
- Qualified for NCAA Championships, competing in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back, as well as on relays, clocking a new personal-best time in the 50 free (22.54).
- Posted top-16 finishes in the 100 free and 100 back at SEC Championships, lowering her 100 free personal best with a time of 49.01 in prelims.
- Clocked season-best times in the 100 free (51.42) and 100 back (53.30) against SMU.
- Went 23.28 in the 50 free at the double-dual with Texas and Georgia Tech.
2022-23:
- Did not see action due to injury.
2021-22 (Freshman):
- Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 100 back and with the Aggies' 200/400 medley relays and 200/400 free relays
- Placed 29th in the 100 back with a time of 52.37
- Turned in a season-best 52.02 in the backstroke leadoff of the Aggies' 400 medley relay
- Team leader in the 50 free (22.79) and 100 backstroke (52.02) and ranked fourth in the 100 free (49.74)
Before A&M:
- Was a four-year letterwinner at A&M Consolidated High School, coached by Ryan Goodwyn and Jenny Marquardt.
- Holds the school record in the 50 free (23.01), 100 back (53.72) and set the state record at the 2020 championship meet in the 100 free (50.14).
- Made three first-place finishes at the state championships in the 100 back (2018, 2020 & 2021), placed first in the 50 free in 2021, second in 50 free (2018 & 2020) and 100 back (2019).
- Spent two years swimming for Magnolia Aquatic Club, coached by Terry Jones.
- Both parents, Kristen and Brian attended Texas A&M.
