High School/Club
- Comes to Aggieland with lifetime bests of 2:03.88 (LCM) in the 200 free, 1:02.09 (LCM) in the 100 fly, 2:00.15 (SCY) in the 200 fly and 2:20.75 (LCM) in the 200 IM.
- At the 2026 NCHSAA 7A State Championship, Pero won the 200 free in a state meet record time of 1:50.54 and placed third in the 100 fly (55.74)
- At the 2025 NCHSAA 4A State Championship, Pero placed third in the 100 fly (54.93) and 10th in the 200 free (1:50.93)
- Was a finalist in three races at the 2025 U.S. Open Championships, finishing 17th in the 200 fly (2:16.73), 22nd in the 200 free (2:07.71), and 23rd in the 100 fly (1:02.49).
