2025-26 (Sophomore)

• Was on the verge of a breakout season before missing the spring portion of the schedule due to injury
• Led the team with a 45.30 clocking in the 100 butterfly and ranked in the top four on the team in the 50 free (19.44) and 200 fly (1:44.68)
• Swam anchor on the team’s top 400 free relay, which was an NCAA B-cut time of 2:49.38 at the Texas Invitational
• His 100 fly time of 45.30 ranks No. 3 on the Aggies’ all-time top 10 list and his 400 free relay time ranks No. 4.

2024-25 (Freshman):

• Posted season-bests, going 47.39 in the 100 fly and 1:48.93 200 fly at Missouri. 

High School / Club

• Swearingen competed for four years at Westerville Central High School
• Ranking as a top-30 recruit in the nation, he won a state championship in the 200 IM and finished second in the 100 fly in 2023
• Swearingen earned All-Ohio accolades in the 100 fly three times
• Competed for John Coffman and the New Albany Aquatics Club
• Five-time NCSA Champion
• Won Junior National championships as a member of the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay.
