2019: Indoor - Competed unattached at the Reveille Invitational, cleared 4.37m/14-4. Outdoor - Competed unattached and cleared 4.96m/16-3.25 at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster.
High School: 2018 graduate of Bryan High School … Coached by Bret Page … Established personal best marks of 16-1 (pole vault) and 14.96 (110H) … Placed fifth in State 5A pole vault, clearing 15-0 … Won district (14-6), area (16-0) and Region III-5A (15-6) titles as a senior in 2018 … Finished fourth in 110m hurdles in district and placed fifth in area meet … Vaulted 15-9 ¼ indoors to place 12th in the 2018 New Balance Nationals … As a junior, claimed district pole vault title, finished fourth in area and seventh in region meet … Best vault in 2017 was 15-3 in placing second at USATF Gulf Association Junior Olympics … In sophomore season district runner-up in pole vault and fifth in area meet … Vaulted a best of 13-6 ½ as runner-up in USATF Region 12 Junior Olympics.
Personal: Campbell Ross Webb is the son of Jerry and Susan Webb, born on July 8, 2000 in Bryan, Texas … Has two younger siblings, Mckenna and Owen … Both parents graduated from Texas A&M … Chose Texas A&M because the atmosphere here is fantastic – “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else” … Started competing in track and field at age 15 … Majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Management.
Tidbits: Career goal is to become a professional athlete … Chose track and field since it was the most physically demanding and required me to push myself the hardest.
