2019: Indoor - Did not compete. Outdoor - Set career best of 1:02.14 in 400m hurdles while placing third at A&M Alumni Muster … First race came in Reveille Meet, placing sixth in 400m hurdles (1:03.85) … Finished third at Texas A&M Invitational (1:05.04) … Finished second in her section at Michael Johnson Invitational (1:02.47) and placed 14th overall, also ran on sixth-place 4x400 (3:44.90).

2018: Did not compete.
 
Prep: State 3A runner-up in 100m hurdles in 2017 with wind-aided best of 14.26 after winning Region III-3A title … In 300m hurdles, placed third at State with personal best of 44.38 following region title … As a junior won Region IV-3A title in 100m hurdles following runner-up finish in district … In 300m hurdles, placed seventh at State after runner-up in region meet … Finished fifth in State meet as a sophomore, won area and region titles in 100m hurdles … Placed eighth at State in 300m hurdles, runner-up in region meet … Placed eighth in State 2A final of 100m hurdles as freshman, runner-up in Region IV-2A final … Placed fourth at region in 300m hurdles.
 
High School: 2017 graduate of Rice Consolidated High School in Altair, Texas … Honors included graduating Magna Cum Laude, and earned Academic All-State in volleyball in 2016 along with Academic All-District in basketball and volleyball four consecutive years … Student organizations included Student Council, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Class President and FFA … Other sports included volleyball, basketball, cross country, cheerleading and tennis … In track and field, coached by Eric Keener and Gary Zeinert, and competed in 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 4x4 relay and long jump … Personal best marks include 14.26 (100H), 44.38 (300H).
 
Personal: Riley McKenna Scheider was born July 16, 1999 in Houston, Texas … Daughter of John and Audrey Schneider, hometown is Garwood, Texas … Older siblings are Kesley and Bailey … Mother is Class of 1990 while sister Bailey is Class of 2019 … Chose Texas A&M – I was raised an Aggie and I love everything about this school and track program … Started competing in track and field at age 12 … Majoring in Community Health.
 
Tidbits: Career goal is to become a cruise ship nurse … Chose track and field – “Track is the most physically and mentally demanding sport and I love the challenge of that.
