Amy Elizabeth Nettles is the daughter of Liz and the late Tripp Nettles…Is the youngest of four children…Is the first person from her family to attend Texas A&M…Chose to go to Texas A&M because “of the girls, coaches, and traditions the school has. I wanted to be a part of all that A&M represents.”…Wears No. 5 because both her mom and oldest sister wore the number and wanted to keep the tradition going…Most memorable moment of Texas A&M volleyball career is being down 2-0 to Florida and coming back to win in five sets in 2015…Hobbies include reading books, especially her bible, watching Netflix, working out, hanging out with my friends and eating…Is a team representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)…Has gone on a mission to Haiti each of the last two years with other Texas A&M student-athletes…Has volunteered for the Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation in which Aggies assist residents within the community, as well as at Texas A&M’s annual Residence Hall Move-In Assistance Day, helping new and returning Aggies move into their dorms…Also has helped with the Aggies CAN food drive…Majoring in university studies with a concentration in business and minoring in communication and psychology…Will receive her Aggie Ring in November and is slated to graduate in May…Career ambitions are to play professional volleyball and become a pediatric oncology nurse…Born October 28, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas.
