Was a three-year starter as an outside hitter and middle blocker for coach Kelley Gregoriew at Allen High School…Ranked No. 23 in PrepVolleyball.com's national list of the top 250 volleyball recruits in the Class of 2015…Also was named to Volleyball Magazine’s “Fab 50,” a list of the nation’s top 50 high school senior recruits…Selected to the AVCA Under Armour All-America third team and was named to LoneStarVolleyball.com's 12-member All-Texas Team for 2014-15…As a senior, was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 6A all-state team and was a member of the All-District 6-6A first team after leading the district with a .349 hitting percentage…Also averaged 3.13 kills and 1.42 blocks per set in 2014 as the Eagles went 29-13…As a junior, was the 2013 District 10-5A most outstanding middle blocker after leading the Eagles to the district championship and an appearance in the state regional semifinals…Also was named to PrepVolleyball.com's "Next 35" in its Top 50 Junior Class of 2015, and she was a member of the District 10-5A academic first team…Was named to the 2012 District 10-5A all-district second team as a sophomore….Played four years of club volleyball, and her teams qualified for the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships every year…Most recently played for Dallas Skyline Juniors and was named to the 2014 PrepVolleyball.com Club Volleyball All-American 17s second team.

Kaitlyn Rose Blake is the daughter of Eric and Dawn Blake…Has a younger brother, Eric…Began playing volleyball when she was 14 years old…Chose to play volleyball over other sports because it was the sport she enjoyed and she found herself to be happier playing volleyball…Wears No. 16 because it is her brother’s favorite number…Chose to play at Texas A&M because it felt like home, and having her parents be able to come to her matches and watch her play was important to her…Is majoring in sociology…Career ambition is to become a nurse…Born January 10, 1997, in Plano, Texas.
