Graduated high school in December 2014, enrolled at Texas A&M in January 2015 and trained with the Aggies throughout the spring semester…Saw the most playing time among the five-member freshman class, appearing in 22 matches…Was in the starting lineup for seven matches, either at the opposite hitter position or at middle blocker, where she started two matches while senior co-captain Shelby Sullivan was out with an injury…Drew her first career start in the three-set sweep against Wichita State in the third match of the season…Played in 65 sets for the full season and hit .244 with 1.83 kills, 0.63 blocks and 2.18 points per set…In home matches only, hit .275 with 0.96 blocks and 2.50 points per set…Established Texas A&M Reed Arena records with seven block assists and eight total blocks in a four-set victory against Abilene Christian on Sept. 5…The seven block assists and eight total blocks against the Wildcats were the most by a Texas A&M player in a four-set match in 2015…Posted double-figure kills three times…Took team-high honors in kills and points with a career-high 14 kills and 15.0 points while hitting .321 in a four-set loss against Iowa State…Led or tied for the team lead in blocks in three matches…Appeared in 29 sets in 10 SEC matches and hit .239 with 1.62 kills, 0.31 blocks and 1.78 points per set in conference play.

Was a three-year starter as an outside hitter and middle blocker for coach Kelley Gregoriew at Allen High School…Ranked No. 23 in PrepVolleyball.com's national list of the top 250 volleyball recruits in the Class of 2015…Also was named to Volleyball Magazine’s “Fab 50,” a list of the nation’s top 50 high school senior recruits…Selected to the AVCA Under Armour All-America third team and was named to LoneStarVolleyball.com's 12-member All-Texas Team for 2014-15…As a senior, was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 6A all-state team and was a member of the All-District 6-6A first team after leading the district with a .349 hitting percentage…Also averaged 3.13 kills and 1.42 blocks per set in 2014 as the Eagles went 29-13…As a junior, was the 2013 District 10-5A most outstanding middle blocker after leading the Eagles to the district championship and an appearance in the state regional semifinals…Also was named to PrepVolleyball.com's "Next 35" in its Top 50 Junior Class of 2015, and she was a member of the District 10-5A academic first team…Was named to the 2012 District 10-5A all-district second team as a sophomore….Played four years of club volleyball, and her teams qualified for the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships every year…Most recently played for Dallas Skyline Juniors and was named to the 2014 PrepVolleyball.com Club Volleyball All-American 17s second team.

Kaitlyn Rose Blake is the daughter of Eric and Dawn Blake…Has a younger brother, Eric…Began playing volleyball when she was 14 years old…Chose to play volleyball over other sports because it was the sport she enjoyed and she found herself to be happier playing volleyball…Wears No. 16 because it is her brother’s favorite number…Chose to play at Texas A&M because it felt like home, and having her parents be able to come to her matches and watch her play was important to her…Is majoring in sociology…Career ambition is to become a nurse…Born January 10, 1997, in Plano, Texas.
