Andi Tate joined the athletics department in 2011 as an athletic trainer for the Texas A&M soccer team.
Andi's love of athletic training began her sophomore year of high school when she was introduced to the profession by her first mentor Bernie Camarillo. While attending Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, she was a student athletic trainer for the football and softball teams.
Andi attended Texas A&M and became a student athletic trainer in 2003, working with the women's tennis, baseball, and football teams.
After her graduation in 2005 with a BS degree in education, she earned her MS degree in athletic training from Stephen F. Austin State University. She worked with the SFA cross country and baseball teams during that time.
Tate also spent time as an athletic trainer at Magnolia West High School from 2007-11.
A native of Corsicana, Texas, Andi spends her free time enjoying photography, reading, spending time with her family and providing a stable home and unlimited treats to her two dogs, Howdy and Bingo.
