Proved herself to be a competitive distance swimmer during her freshman season. Jetter posted personal bests in the 1000 free and the 1650 free at the Speedo Champions Series, finishing the 1000 free in 9:59.92 and the 1650 free in 16:55.36.
High School/Club:
2013 graduate of Foothill High School … four-year letter winner …also competed in basketball for Foothill …four-year Principal’s list recognition … also competed for the Pleasanton Seahawks club team for two years … was coached by Steve Morsilli.
Personal:
Cayla Jetter is the daughter of Dana and Cathy Jetter of Pleasanton, California… born on April 22, 1995 in Pleasanton, CA … intends to major in business … her father played golf at San Jose State and went pro for a few years … has been swimming competitively since age 16 … says she chose A&M because “I want to see how good I can get at swimming and what it is like to be a real division one athlete and this is the best place to do that.”
