Coach Bultman: uncomplicated
Coach Jamison: straightforward
- Posted an NCAA B cut time of 1:59.54 in the 200-yard butterfly
- Other best times were 4:54.98 in the 500 free, 10:22.65 in the 1,000 free and 4:20.82 in the 400 IM
2015-16 (Sophomore):
- Posted best times of 4:54.82 in the 500 free, 10:20.33c in the 1,000, 17:14.01 in the 1,650 free, 2:01.67 in the 200 fly and 4:23.88 in the 400 IM
- During the regular season, Sloan posted third-place finishes in the 1,000 free in dual meets vs. North Texas and SMU.
2014-2015 (Freshman):
- Swam in a total of 12 events, her highest finish coming against LSU where she placed third in the 1,000 free (10:15.94)
- Recorded personal bests in the 1,650 free (17:11.26), 200 free (1:52.11), 100 fly (56.80) and 200 IM (2:06.87)
- At the Speedo Championships Series, set personal marks in the 500 free (4:52.31), 200 fly (2:03.32) and the 400 IM (4:26.11).

- Sloan earned four-time varsity letter-winner
- 500 free- first team All-State 2011-2014, 200 free- first team All-State 2014, 200 IM- first team All-State 2011-2013
- Medaled 12 times in District/Regional finish by year from 2011-2014
- Eight-time State medalist
- Set six school records
- Competed with Magnolia Aquatic Club for eight years under head coaches Terry Jones and Scott McFarland.
- Was in the top 10 percent of her graduating class and received the Magnolia West of Student Excellence Award
- A member of the National Honor Society, Unite West 2013, and Yearbook Club in 2013

- Jessica Sloan is the daughter of Lauri and Cary Sloan of Magnolia, Texas
- Born on June 5, 1995 in Sumter, South Carolina
- Sport management major
- Her brother, Jacob, earned his degree in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M
- Chose Texas A&M because “it is a very well rounded program. Not only is it a great network to be involved with but the team and facilities are phenomenal.
