Posted and impressive three NCAA "B" cut times in 100 back (53.85), 200 back (1:55.31), and 200 IM (1:56.63) ... Also helped set a new school record on the 400 Medley Relay team swimming anchor.
2010-11 (Freshman):
Earned a spot on the Aggies' NCAA team and saw action in the 100 and 200 backstrokes, the 200 IM and with the 400 free relay at nationals ... Posted NCAA "B" cuts in the 100 back (54.17), the 200 back (1:55.68) and the 200 IM (1:58.61).
High School/Club:
2010 graduate of Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas...coached by Mark Jedow at Churchill, and by Larry Hough at Alamo Area Aquatics...at the 2010 Class5A State Championships, Pavlin placed third in the 200 IM (2:02.39) and fifth in the 100back (55.64), and she swam the backstroke leg on the winning 200 medley relay and was on the third-place 400 free relay...at the state meet as a junior, Pavlin won the200 IM and placed second in the 100 back. She also swam leadoff legs on Churchill's200 medley relay (fourth place) and 400 free relay (second place)...Pavlin has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Croatia, and is a six-time Croatian National Champion and was a semi-finalist in the European Junior Championships ... qualified for the 2009 U.S. Open and the 2009 Short Course Nationals ... an excellent student, Pavlin has a 102 grade average and was ranked in the top 10 percent of her class throughout her high school career.
