Posted 14 points at the SEC Championships with season best times of 4:49.79 in the 500 free and 16:41.08 in the 1650 free. Nelson is ranked in the top three for the team in the 1650 and is fourth on the team in the 1000 free this season.
2011-2012 (Junior)
Ranked on the top five on the team for 1000 free and 1650 free.
2010-2011 (Sophomore)
Nelson finished the season with a successful Big 12 Championship meet, scoring 22 points. She had a 10th place finish in the 500 free (4:48.10) and a 4th place finish in the 1650 free (16:33.57), both earning her personal best times as well as qualifying as NCAA 'B' cut times.
2009-2010 (Freshman)
Scored 35 points at the 2010 Big 12 Championships for the Aggies after posting Top-10 finishes in three events...Swam two NCAA "B'' cut times at the Big 12 Championships, in both the 1,650 yard freestyle (16:24.97) and the 500 yard freestyle (4:48.04) to finish in 4th and 6th place, respectively...Also swam a season best time of 1:49.78 in the 200 freestyle at the Big 12 meet.
