Before A&M:
- Spent one season swimming for the Dallas Mustangs Swim Team, coached by Mook Rhodenbaugh.
- Was a four-year varsity letter in high school, where she was the on the TAPPS All-State Team and a TAPPS State Champion all four years.
- Has been swimming competitively since she was eight.
