2012-2013 (Senior)
Posted 62 individual points at the SEC Championships with three NCAA ‘B’ time cuts. Simpson swam the 100 fly in 53.55 for 12^thplace, the 100 back in 52.36 for fifth place, and the 200 back in 1:54.69 for eighth place. Simpson also helped the Aggies to the runner up finish in the 200 medley relay. At the NCAA Championships, Simpson scored 16 points, placing 12^th in the 200 back and eighth in the 100 back. Simpson took down a school record with her 1:53.20 swim in the 200 back at the national meet. Had career best in the 100 back finishing in 52.01.

2011-2012 (Junior)
Posted three NCAA "B" cut times in the 100 back (53.14), 200 back (1:55.62), and 100 fly (54.42) ... also a part of the 200 medley relay team which earned a NCAA "A" cut time and set a school record of 1:35.71 ... Simpson's best 50 back time is 24.57, second fastest on the team.

2010-2011 (Sophomore)
Simpson scored 39 points at the Big 12 Championship meet, finishing with a sixth place in the 200 backstroke, third in the 100 back, and was part of the 200 medley relay team which set a school record at the meet, 1:36.72, earning them an NCAA 'A' cut time. Simpson's personal bests for the season came at the Georgia Tech meet in the 200 back (1:54.65) and at the NCAA Championship meet in the 100 back (53.02), both of which were 'B' cut times.

2009-2010 (Freshman)

2009 graduate of Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School in Ingleside, Ont. ... competed for the Cornwall Sea Lions club team coached by Robert Eynon ... placed sixth in the 100 backstroke at the Canadian World Championships Trials with a time of 1:03.73 ... in the spring of 2008, Simpson finished sixth at the Canadian Olympic Trials in the 100-meter backstroke and was named to the Canadian Junior National Team. Simpson went on to earn a bronze medal at the FINA Junior World Championships in the 100 back and finished fourth in the 50 back as well ... made the Canadian Tri-Nations Cup team where she earned a second place finish in the 100 back.
