AT TEXAS A&M
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE)
Finished the season with an 8-4 singles record and a 3-1 mark in dual matches… Went undefeated at the No. 4 line, holding a 2-0 record… Longest singles win streak was three matches set during tournament play… Owned an excellent 13-3 record in doubles play, highlighted by a 9-2 performance during tournament action, earning wins alongside Tatiana Makarova, Katya Townsend, Renee McBryde and Riley McQuaid… Earned the No. 55 ITA doubles ranking alongside Makarova in the preseason poll after a 5-0 fall slate.
2020-21 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Submitted a 5-3 record in singles during the abbreviated tournament campaign, logging a 2-1 performance at both the Texas A&M Fall Invite and the Aggie Halloween Classic… Added a singles victory at the TCU Winter Invitational, taking down Blanca Cortijo of Houston in straight sets… Dominated in doubles during tournament play with a 9-2 record… Had a perfect 4-0 doubles performance at the TCU Winter Invitational alongside four different partners… Boasted an undefeated 5-0 record when paired with Tatiana Makarova.
2019-20 (FRESHMAN)
Finished 16-4 in singles play, with a 7-1 record in dual matches… Earned the first ranked win of her career over No. 38 Michaela Haet of Rice in straight-sets… Recorded at least one win in each of the last four singles positions… Finished the season on a four match win streak… Recorded an 18-4 mark in doubles, featuring a 14-match win streak… Went 3-0 in doubles when paired with Dorthea Faa-Hviding, 12-2 when joined by sophomore Lucia Quiterio, and 3-2 with Renee McBryde... Received the first national ranking of her collegiate career, placing as high as No. 20 in the ITA fall doubles poll with Quiterio.
2019-20 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Logged a 9-3 singles record while putting up a perfect 11-0 doubles record in tournament action… Opened the fall going 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles at the SEC/Big 12 Challenge… Posted a 4-1 singles record at the ITA Texas Regional, falling to Fernanda Labrana of Texas… Won the ITA Texas Regional Doubles Title alongside sophomore Lucia Quiterio, garnering the No. 20 ITA Women’s doubles ranking for the fall… Went 2-1 in singles at the Texas Invitational while going 3-0 in doubles at the event with Quiterio.

2018-19 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Posted a 4-0 singles record and 4-1 doubles record in tournament play…Opened the fall by claiming the Flight 3 Singles Title at the Big 5 Challenge in Fort Worth, posted a 4-0 record over players from Notre Dame, Virginia, Texas Tech and Arizona, was 2-0 in doubles matches alongside Katya Townsend.
PERSONAL: Jessica Anzo was born in Los Angeles, California, as the only child to Frank and Anita Anzo… Prior to her arrival in Aggieland, she attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, California… Named a blue chip prospect by TennisRecruiting.net, and ranked as the No. 25 player nationally… She expects to graduate from Texas A&M University in May of 2022 with a degree in Sports Management, coupled with a minor in tourism management… Anzo looks to utilize her degree to carve out a career in professional sports… The redshirt-freshman is a two-time selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2019 and 2020, and expects to receive her Aggie Ring in the Fall 2021 semester… In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and shopping online
