AT TEXAS A&M
2024-25 (SOPHOMORE)
Looking to continue her dominance into year two as an Aggie, Perez finished the 24-25 season going 23-7 on court 4 in singles, while going 19-6 in doubles … Perez made her presence known by being the one the Aggies looked for to close out their wins. With the SEC Regular Season Championship up for grabs, Perez closed out Aysegul Mert to give the Maroon & White the title, earning her first SEC Player of the Week honor … Concluding her second season, Perez was named to the SEC All-Second Team.
2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
Entering her first season in Aggieland, Perez made her presence felt across the SEC and country… In her debut campaign, Perez concluded the year with a 22-7 record in singles play and a 15-11 record in doubles across three partners… She secured singles wins on courts 2 through 5, with the majority coming on court 4 where she claimed 13 victories… In doubles, Perez spent most of the season playing court 2 doubles securing 14 wins… In her freshman year she accumulated five ranked victories, three coming in singles and a pair in doubles… Standing out in conference play, the freshman racked up double digit singles wins with 10, the second-largest total in the conference this season… Her performance throughout the SEC slate caught the attention of the league’s coaches, as she was the first player in program history to be named SEC Freshman of the Year, while also being named All-SEC Second Team and All-Freshman Team… In the NCAA postseason Perez continued to dominate, ensuring their spot in the semifinals with a clinching point versus Virginia and added a doubles and singles win in the title match versus Georgia… Following the conclusion of the season she was named the ITA Texas Region Rookie of the Year… In the ITA national rankings, she came into the year as the No. 3 newcomer and added a No. 74 rank in doubles with Carson Branstine.
