Made her A&M debut and only appearance of the season late in the third set at UTEP and had an ace and an assist in the first two plays of her career…Completed the sweep against the Miners with five assists after setting up freshman middle blocker Maddie Douglas for the match-winning kill.

Was a four-year starting setter for coach Kelly McCarter at Vandegrift High School…A two-time selection to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 5A all-state team (2014-15)…As a senior, was named to the AVCA Under Armour Watch List…Capped her prep career by leading the Vipers to the state tournament regional semifinals and a 40-10 record, a school record for wins…Was a three-time member of the District 25-5A all-district first team, earning district Setter of the Year honors in 2013 and 2015…Also was a three-time member of the academic all-district team…Played club ball for AJV Mizuno (12s-18s) and was teammates with future Aggie teammate Maddie Douglas…Named to PrepVolleyball.com’s 2015 High School All-Americans Special Mention list…Was a candidate for PrepVolleyball.com’s Andi Collins Award, recognizing the top high school senior setter in the nation…Most memorable moment of athletic career is beating high school rival Cedar Park for the first time in school history.

Alexandra Madison Lopez is the daughter of Zandra Lopez…Began playing volleyball when she was 8 years old…Only official recruiting visit was to Texas A&M…Chose to attend Texas A&M because, “I loved how passionate the students, faculty/staff and coaches were about the traditions. I had never visited a school that was so friendly, let alone a school that treated every one of their peers like family. The atmosphere, as well as the beautiful campus, ultimately sold me on A&M.”…Most memorable moment of Texas A&M athletic career is setting her first assist to longtime teammate and friend Maddie Douglas…Hobbies include drawing, reading and painting…Volunteered for The Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation in which Aggies assist residents within the community…Also participated in Aggies Read, an outreach organization that is dedicated to promoting literacy and fostering a love of reading for elementary and middle school students in the community…Is majoring in biology…Career ambition is to be a clinical neuropsychologist…Born March 3, 1998, in Alamosa, Colorado.
