Appeared in 19 matches and 47 sets…Drew her only start in the season opener against Ohio at opposite hitter…Posted double-figure kills for the first time in her career with 13 against Missouri State…Appeared in her first SEC match of the season at South Carolina (Oct. 7), coming off the bench and recording three kills without an error in five attack attempts…Late in the fourth set at Georgia (Oct. 14), was subbed in at middle blocker for the first time this season and finished the match with four kills in five attempts without an error, including three crucial kills in the decisive fifth set…Also subbed in at middle blocker against Tennessee and Kentucky…Returned to the right side against Alabama on Oct. 26, played in three sets and had a career-high five digs…Averaged 1.47 kills and 1.78 points per set for the full season.
2017 (FRESHMAN)
Made her A&M debut in the season opener against Sam Houston State…Appeared in 11 matches overall and drew a starting nod five times…Had appeared in only three matches and four sets overall through the first 11 matches before making her first career start and playing in all three sets in the sweep against Mississippi State on Oct. 8…Her seven blocks against the Bulldogs tied for the most by an A&M player in all matches in 2017…Led or tied for the team lead in blocks in four matches…Averaged 1.09 blocks per set for the full season and 1.16 blocks per set in 19 SEC sets played…The middle blocker started at opposite hitter for the first time in her career at Ole Miss on Nov. 12 and responded with a career-high seven kills while hitting .312…Was the recipient of the team’s Most Improved Player Award at the end-of-the-year awards dinner.
