PERSONAL

I crave the adrenaline rush of taking away a kill from an opponent and running down balls.”…Only official recruiting visit was to Texas A&M…Chose to attend Texas A&M because, “it was perfect! Close to home, which was a necessity, the university has a great reputation and spirit, and the volleyball program is competitive. The girls on the team were very welcoming, and I just knew that it was where I was supposed to be.”…Most memorable moments in athletics are playing high school volleyball with her sister and securing the SEC championship at Mizzou…Although favorite number is 5, chose to wear the No. 14 jersey because No. 5 was unavailable and 1+4=5, which also is the number of her oldest sister’s first jersey and it also was the number worn by former Aggie Olympian and volleyball idol Stacy Sykora while representing USA…Hobby is shopping…Is a member of FCA, Athletes in Action and the Texas A&M Physical Therapy Society…Has volunteered at A&M’s annual Residence Hall Move-In Assistance Day, helping new and returning Aggies move into their dorms, and at Hard Hats for Little Heads in which A&M student-athletes help educate elementary school children about the importance of wearing a helmet…Also was a volunteer at Cole Health Pediatric…Helped coach the Texas A&M men’s club volleyball team in the spring…Was one of 11 Aggie volleyball players and 27 Texas A&M student-athletes overall who went on a mission trip to Haiti in May…Is a four-time member of the Texas A&M Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll…Is majoring in kinesiology and is slated to graduate in May 2017…Career ambition is to be a physical therapist…Born February 23, 1995, in Houston, Texas.
