At the SEC Championship, Carlton clinched ninth in the 100 Back (52.72), beating her personal best and also 12th in the 100 Fly (52.88), earning NCAA B-cuts in both.
Earned gold in the 100 Back (53.83) and 100 Fly (53.82) against Ohio State
In the dual meet against Texas, Carlton clinched second in the 100 Fly (53.70) and third in the 100 Back (54.21)
Touched the wall first in the 100 Free (51.21) and 50 Free (23.57) against Rice
At the Art Adamson Invitational, Carlton secured first, setting a new personal best and earning an NCAA-B cut time in the 100 Back (52.77), clinched fourth and another NCAA-B cut time in the 100 Fly (52.86), earned fifth and an NCAA-B cut time as well as a new personal best in the 50 Free (22.53), beat her personal best in the 100 Free (49.55), also secured Olympic Trial Cut times in the 100 Back, 100 Fly and 50 Free
