Medrano scored 43 points at the Big 12 Championships with a seventh place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:00.778), fifth place in the 100 butterfly (53.27) and second in the 200 butterfly. Each of these events earned her NCAA 'B' cut times and her personal best 200 fly time came at the NCAA Championships, 1:55.00.

2009-10 (Sophomore)

Entered the NCAA Championships seeded No. 12 in the 200 fly (1:55.85), No. 36 in the 100 fly (53.56) and No. 65 in the 200 IM (2:01.55) ... Scored 47.5 points to help the Aggies win their third Big 12 team title in four seasons ... Placed second in the 200 fly , third in the 100 fly and 11th in the 200 IM at conference ... candidate to swim the fly leg on both medley relays ... was the fly leg on the Aggies' Big 12 runner-up 400 medley relay ... earned first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2008-09 (Freshman)

Scored 31 points with a pair of top five finishes at the Big 12 Championships ... was second in the 200 butterfly (NCAA "B" cut 1:57.30) and fifth in the 100 fly (season-best 54.31) ... set the school record in the 200 fly with a time of 1:56.73 at the Missouri Time Trial ... advanced to the NCAA Championships and placed 24th in the 200 fly in 1:56.7 ... won five events at the Mexican Long Course National Championships in April 2009 with sweeps in the 50, 100 and 200 flys and the 200 and 400 IMs ... set Mexican records in the 100 fly and 200 fly ... competed at the FINA World Championships in Rome, Italy.
