- Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach (Softball, Dance)
Brett Lenaburg joined the Texas A&M Strength and Conditioning staff in September 2025 and serves as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, overseeing the Aggie Softball and Dance programs.
Lenaburg came to Texas A&M after eight years at Ole Miss, where he served as an Assistant Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning. During his tenure with the Rebels, he worked with Softball, Soccer, Men’s Tennis, Rifle, and Track & Field. While at Ole Miss, he contributed to the success of multiple NCAA Tournament teams, a conference championship, and six individual national champions.
Before his time at Ole Miss, Lenaburg spent four years at Rice University as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, working directly with the Soccer and Volleyball programs while assisting with all Olympic sports.
Lenaburg also brings professional baseball experience, having served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Colorado Rockies and their minor league affiliate, the Asheville Tourists. Prior to that, he was the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Scottsdale Community College Baseball and a Performance Coach at Triple Threat Performance, where he trained professional, collegiate, and high school athletes across multiple sports.
As a former athlete, Lenaburg played football at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona, earning time at center, guard, and on special teams. After football, he competed in powerlifting, achieving elite totals and setting national records in the squat and bench press in the Junior division in both raw and multi-ply categories.
A native of Arizona, Lenaburg earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in 2011 and his Master of Science in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania in 2015. He holds certifications through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
Lenaburg and his wife, the former Elyse Cavolo, reside in College Station with their two daughters, Roma and Mila.
