Doak Stangle joined the Athletics Department in a full-time role in the Spring of 2025 and serves as a coordinator in the facilities and operations department. He is the primary facility manager for the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball and assists in management of Reed Arena.
Stangle's full-time role returns him to his alma mater, where he spent two seasons as a manager for the men's basketball program and a third as a student assistant in facilities before earning his degree in sport management in 2022.
Upon graduation, Stangle spent two years as an operations graduate assistant at Murray State University while working towards his MBA. He earned his graduate degree in 2024. Following that Stangle worked one year in the facilities and event management department at North Texas before coming back to College Station.
Stangle is a native of Boerne.
