Kristy Williams joined the Texas A&M Athletics Department in May 2016 and serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Experience/Licensing.

A native of Marlton, New Jersey, Williams comes to Aggieland after 10 years at the University of Delaware.

While at UD, she held the position of assistant director of athletics marketing for three years and served as director for two years before being promoted to assistant director of athletics for marketing and promotions in September 2011. In that role she oversaw daily operations of Delaware's athletics marketing and promotions department, which included developing and implementing marketing plans, assisting with group sales, acting as liaison to the corporate partnership program, and overseeing all marketing staff.

Williams began her career in marketing as an intern with Wachovia Securities in Winston-Salem in 2003-04 while a student at Wake Forest and following graduation joined the University of Pennsylvania athletics department as a marketing and ticketing assistant from July, 2004 until June, 2005.

She worked as marketing coordinator for Philadelphia Fresh Foods in Narberth, Pa., handling marketing efforts for the Qdoba Mexican Grill brand throughout the Greater Philadelphia area for six months in 2005 before returning to Penn in November, 2005.

While at Penn, she assisted with and coordinated various marketing and promotional efforts and game day operations for numerous varsity sports and special events, including the prestigious Penn Relays Carnival held each year at Franklin Field. She also assisted in the marketing and ticketing offices and in the spring of 2005 was enrolled in Penn's Wharton Business School.

She was a Dean's list student at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. and earned her degree in business with a minor in international studies in May, 2004. Williams earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in International Business from the University of Delaware in June 2018.

The former Kristy Fletcher and her husband, Trevor Williams, Associate AD/Head Coach for Strength & Conditioning at Sam Houston State, wed in April of 2017. The couple lives in Huntsville with their son, daughter and Rhodesian Ridgeback.
