Matthew Harrison

Matthew Harrison is in his second year as a Sports Field Coordinator where he is responsible for maintaining the playing surface at Blue Bell Park and assisting on the other Texas A&M athletic fields as necessary.
Harrison is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences (Turfgrass). As a student, he worked on the Auburn Grounds Crew until May 2023, when he took a job at Texas A&M University overseeing the day to day operations at Blue Bell Park
Harrison is originally from Prattville, Alabama. He grew up playing sports and developed a love for sports field maintenance through his experiences on the Auburn Grounds Crew. In his free time, Matthew is a huge history buff, enjoys playing disc golf, and spending time with friends.
