Rena Frank is in her 24th year of service with Texas A&M University, 21 of those years in the Athletics Department.
Her current role in Athletics is the Athletic Camps Coordinator and Assistant Financial Manager in Internal Operations, a role she assumed in 2017. Her current responsibilities include Athletic Travel, the liaison to Anthony Travel, Athletic Camps Coordinator, and Human Resources liaison.
She began her career working for the legendary Billy Pickard in 1999. In 2003 she moved along with the football athletic training staff to the Bright Football Complex, where she became the Assistant to the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Training. Since that time, her role in the department has changed from being a receptionist to setting up and organizing the Texas A&M Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Clinic.
Rena and her family enjoy their time riding long-distance motorcycles and attending most sporting events. She is also on the board of her local community center, where her main focus is the restoration of the old community school house from the late 1800’s.
In 1996, Rena married Ed Frank, who is retired after 30 years of service to the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office and now has a new career as a massage therapist. Ed and Rena have two children at home, Nate and Carley, another child Jeremy and his wife Alison, and a grandson, Wil.
