Sam Thornton joined the athletics communications department in October of 2022 as a Communications Specialist for Aggie volleyball and men’s and women’s tennis.
Prior to communications, Thornton was a volunteer and graduate assistant coach for the Texas A&M men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.
A four-year letterwinner and six-time All-American for the Texas A&M men’s diving team, Thornton earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&M in 2019 and 2022, respectively.
A native of Bradford, England, Thornton enjoys playing with his dog, staying active, watching sports and hanging out with friends.
