Erin Jones joined the Athletics Department in 1996 and currently serves as the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Game Management and Special Events.

In that capacity she serves as the game manager for men’s and women’s basketball, while working football games as head game manager. In addition, Jones oversees credentialing, parking and hospitality for all home events hosted on Texas A&M’s campus. She also serves as the senior sport administrator for Texas A&M’s baseball team, a role that further highlights her leadership across multiple programs.

After beginning her Aggie Athletics career as a student worker, Jones joined the game operations and marketing staff in 1999 as an assistant. Over her tenure at Texas A&M, she has overseen numerous conference and national championships, including the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, multiple NCAA softball regionals and both NCAA baseball regionals and super regionals. She was also instrumental in hosting historic large-scale events, such as the first international soccer match in Kyle Field history (MexTour – Mexico vs. Brazil) and the largest concert ever held in the United States, George Strait at Kyle Field. Remarkably, she managed these milestone events while simultaneously serving as the baseball team’s sport administrator at the 2024 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

A native of Marlin, Texas, Jones was elevated to her current role in 2024. She has been married to Kirk Jones, a former University Police Officer and current Athletic Director security detail, since July 2013.
