Carter Banks joined Mike Elko's staff in the Spring of 2024 and serves as the Aggies' Director of Football Equipment. He is responsible for day-to-day operations of the football equipment room, which includes handling and ordering apparel and safety products and supervising and mentoring students, among other duties.

Banks comes to Aggieland after spending the 2023-24 season as the head football equipment manager for the UConn Huskies. Prior to that he was the head equipment manager at Arkansas State for one season.

A native of Hartwell, Georgia, Banks is a 2021 graduate of the University of Georgia with a pair of bachelor's degrees in marketing and sport management. While in Athens he spent all four years as a student manager with the football team, winning the Peach Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl--and highlighting his tenure with the 2021 CFP National Championship.
