Denzel Nickerson enters his first season as an offensive analyst at Texas A&M after joining Coach Elko’s staff in the spring of 2026.
Before he arrived in Aggieland, Nickerson spent the 2025 season in Las Vegas working as a recruiting assistant and offensive analyst at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Before joining the Rebels, Nickerson spent two seasons coaching at Venice High School in Venice, Fla. While at Venice High, Nickerson worked primarily with the wide receivers and served as the team's pass game coordinator. Nickerson got his start in coaching at the high school ranks in Florida while also spending some time in the Houston area. He also served as the head coach/offensive coordinator of Prime Truth Florida, a prominent 7-on-7 program.
Nickerson was a two-way football player at Eastside High School in Gainesville, Fla. during the late 2000’s, but instead decided to play baseball at Florida Memorial University.
Nickerson earned his bachelor’s degree from FMU in mass communications in 2016 and his Master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University in 2021.
Nickerson has three children, Alaina, Denzel and Skylar.
