Trevor Horton enters his first season in an offensive quality control role at Texas A&M after joining Coach Elko’s staff as a full-time staff member ahead of the 2026 season. He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as a graduate assistant at Austin Peay.
Horton was a member of the Duke University football team from 2019-23. He spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons playing for coach Elko before joining his staff at Texas A&M in 2026.
While a member of the Duke football team, Horton saw action in four career games as a wide receiver. In 2021, he was the recipient of the team’s Micah Harris Trinity Teammate Award, which is presented annually to the member of the Duke football program who displays the highest teammate qualities such as inspiration, unselfishness and commitment to the team.
Horton graduated from Duke in May of 2023 with a degree in neuroscience and a minor in economics. He added a master’s degree in management studies from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in May 2024.
