A lineman for the Aggies under head coach Gene Stallings, Cliff Thomas was given the tools to succeed while wearing the maroon and white.
He made the most of his opportunity and has returned the favor, giving back to Texas A&M.
Appointed to the Texas A&M Board of Regents by Governor Rick Perry in 2011 and reappointed in 2017 by Governor Greg Abbott, he served as vice chairman of the board from 2013 to 2015 and as chairman from 2015 to 2017.
Thomas has served and chaired on several committees, including the search committee for a new president at Texas A&M in 2014 and '15.
Now, he is bestowed the Letterman's Association Lifetime Achievement Award for his accomplishments and worthy endeavors after his graduation from Texas A&M University.
