
Centenary Hands Aggies Third Straight Loss

Andrew Wisniewski scored 22 points, Demario Hooper added 17 and Centenary held Texas A&M to 21 percent shooting in the second half Thursday night in a 73-63 victory over the Aggies.
Centenary (6-6) led 32-30 at halftime behind 50 percent shooting (12-of-24), then held Texas A&M (6-8) to 6-of-28 field goal accuracy in the second half to clinch the victory. The Aggies made 20-of-27 free throws in the final period to keep it close.
Kevin Atama had 13 points and Michael Gale 12 points for Centenary.
Bernard King's 17 points led Texas A&M, and Bradley Jackson and reserve Andy Leatherman added 11 points each for the Aggies.
