Senior Antanas Kavaliauskas scored 27 points with 12 rebounds to lead No. 13-ranked Texas A&M to a 113-74 exhibition victory Friday night against Lithuanian Academy in front of 7,474 fans at Reed Arena.
The Aggies went on a 25-2 run midway through the first half to take a commanding 42-16 lead and owned a 63-32 margin at halftime. A&M led by as many as 45 points in the second half.
Sophomore Josh Carter added 21 points for the Aggies, making 4-of-6 three-point field goals, and freshman Derrick Roland scored 11. Aaron Curtis led the Lithuanian team with a game-high 32 points.
The Aggies shot 54.4 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Lithuanians, 44-24.
A&M ends its exhibition schedule with a 2-0 mark. The Aggies defeated Midwestern State, 79-54, in its first exhibition on Wednesday.
A&M opens the regular season next Friday against Prairie View A&M as part of a double-header with the women's team at Reed Arena. The women play at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8:30 p.m.
