Texas A&M senior big man Joseph Jones has been named to Dick Vitale's 2007-08 Preseason All-Rolls Royce Team.
The legendary ESPN analyst selected five squads, placing Jones on the second team. The 6-9, 250-pound Jones averaged 13.4 points and 6.8 rebounds last season, helping the Aggies to a 27-7 record and a No. 9 final national ranking.
"These players are the creme de la creme of the upcoming 2007-08 season," Vitale said. "(Jones) should have a monster year and he could surprise some teams with his athleticism."
Vitale's first team consists of Georgetown's Roy Hibbert, North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough, Kansas' Brandon Rush, Tennessee's Chris Lofton and Michigan State's Drew Neitzel.
Joining Jones on the second team are Arizona's Chase Budinger, Washington's Jon Brockman, Virginia's Sean Singletary and Memphis' Chris Douglas-Roberts.
The third team is comprised of Stanford's Brook Lopez, Indiana's D.J. White, Texas Tech's Martin Zeno, UCLA's Darren Collison and Marquette's Dominic James.
